Educational Qualification:
For regular TGT subjects, candidates should possess the relevant Graduate Degree with prescribed teacher-training qualification/B.Ed. and CTET Paper-II as applicable.
If suitable CTET-qualified candidates are unavailable, candidates possessing JTET qualification may also be considered as provided in the notification.
- Physical Education Teacher: Graduate qualification in Physical Education.
- Music Teacher: Degree in Music from a recognised University.
- Computer Teacher: Prescribed BCA/B.Sc. Computer Science/IT or B.E./B.Tech Computer Science/IT qualification with required marks.
- Librarian: Degree in Library Science or prescribed Library Science Diploma with Bachelor's Degree.
- Hostel Warden: Prescribed integrated/Graduate Degree from a recognised institution.
Age Limit:
Age will be calculated as on 01 October 2026.
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 60 Years
- Retired Teachers: Up to 65 Years, subject to prescribed conditions and physical fitness.
Remuneration:
- TGT satisfying NESTS Recruitment Rules: ₹33,000 per Month
- TGT without one of the main NESTS prescribed eligibility conditions: ₹29,000 per Month
- Other Posts: As per rate fixed by the Department.
Selection Process:
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted and selected through Walk-in Interview / Skill Test by the District-Level Committee.
Preference may be given to candidates having teaching experience in educational institutions.
Period of Engagement:
The Guest Teacher engagement will be for one year or until appointment of regular teachers, whichever is earlier.
The engagement will be purely temporary and will not create any right to regularisation.
Important Conditions:
- Selected Guest Teachers must perform duties similar to regular teachers.
- Since EMRS is a residential school, teachers may be required to remain available according to school/student requirements.
- Selected candidates must join teaching duties within one week of issue of appointment letter.
- Experience in teaching work will be given preference.
- The interview/skill-test schedule will be communicated separately.
