Post-wise Vacancy & Qualification:
- Medical Officer – 48 Posts: MBBS
- General Physician – 13 Posts: MBBS + MD/DNB/DGM in General Medicine
- Gynecologist – 02 Posts: MBBS + MD/MS/DNB/DGO in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Paediatrician – 07 Posts: MBBS + MD/DNB/DCH in Child Health
- Anesthesiologist – 04 Posts: MBBS + MD/DNB/DA in Anesthesiology
Equivalent qualifications from institutions recognised by the competent medical authority will be considered as prescribed in the notification.
Remuneration:
- Medical Officer: ₹63,000 per Month
- General Physician: ₹1,10,000 per Month
- Gynecologist: ₹1,10,000 per Month
- Paediatrician: ₹1,10,000 per Month
- Anesthesiologist: ₹1,10,000 per Month
The remuneration is consolidated and non-negotiable.
Professional Registration:
Candidates must possess valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or concerned State Medical Council, as applicable, and the registration must remain valid during the engagement.
Contract Period:
The initial contractual engagement will be for 01 year.
The contract may be renewed or extended subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funds, continuation of the programme/post and applicable Government/DMFT rules.
The engagement does not confer any right to permanent appointment, regularisation or absorption.
Specialist Doctor Duty:
Selected Specialist Doctors must serve at least 03 days per week in the hospital where they are posted.
Selection Process:
Selection will be through Personnel Interview. Marks obtained in the interview will be the criterion for selection.
Place of Posting:
Selected candidates may be posted at any hospital, health facility, administrative block or other healthcare institution within Dhanbad district according to administrative requirements.
Candidates may also be transferred, redeployed or temporarily attached to another healthcare institution within the district during the contractual period.
Initial Performance Assessment:
The first 03 months will be treated as an initial performance-assessment period.
If performance is not satisfactory but improvement is possible, this assessment period may be extended once for another three months.
