Specialist Medical Officer Qualification:
Candidates must possess an MBBS Degree with Postgraduate Degree/Diploma from an NMC-recognised institution in the relevant specialty:
- General Medicine
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Paediatrics
- Orthopaedics
- Dermatology
Candidates must also possess valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council.
Dentist Qualification:
- BDS Degree from a recognised Dental College/Institution recognised by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
- Valid registration with the DCI or State Dental Council.
- Minimum 02 Years Post-Qualification Experience in a hospital/institution setup.
Age Limit:
Age will be calculated as on 31 October 2026.
- Specialist Medical Officers: Minimum 23 Years and Maximum 64 Years
- Dentist: Maximum 35 Years
Remuneration:
- Specialist Medical Officer: ₹1,05,000 per Month
- Dentist: ₹37,500 per Month
Contract Period:
The engagement will be purely contractual for a period of one year or up to the continuation/availability of funds under the 15th Finance Commission, whichever is earlier.
The engagement may be extended further subject to:
- Availability of funds;
- Satisfactory performance; and
- Approval of the competent authority.
The contractual engagement will not confer any right or claim for regular/permanent Government appointment.
Place of Posting:
The selected Specialist Medical Officers and Dentist will provide services on a rotational basis at the following UPHC-Polyclinics:
- UPHC Shivpuri, Bhuli
- UPHC Chandmari, Dhanbad
- UPHC Katras
- UPHC Kolakusma
- UPHC Rajbari/Rajbadi Road, Jharia
