JSSC ASSISTANT JAILOR PHYSICAL TEST 2026 RESCHEDULED
Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has issued Important Notice No. 04 dated 28 October 2026 regarding the rescheduling of the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for Jharkhand Assistant Jailor Competitive Examination 2025 (JAJCE-2025).
The recruitment examination is being conducted under Advertisement Nos. 05/2025 and 06/2025.
Previously, the physical test programme was announced through Important Notice No. 02 dated 16 October 2026.
The physical examination was scheduled to commence on 28 October 2026 through three selection boards in Jharkhand.
However, due to the possibility of heavy rainfall in Ranchi associated with Cyclone Arnav and in view of the communication received from the office of the Director General and Inspector General of Police, Jharkhand, JSSC has revised certain physical test dates.
The revised schedule applies specifically to the physical examinations scheduled on 28, 29, 30 and 31 October 2026 under Selection Board No. 01 at JAP-1 Ground, Doranda, Ranchi.
Candidates affected by this rescheduling should carefully note their revised physical test dates.

REASON FOR RESCHEDULING
The Commission has revised these examination dates because of the possibility of heavy rainfall in Ranchi associated with Cyclone Arnav.
IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION
Only the above four dates have been rescheduled under Selection Board No. 01.
The remaining Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test programme will continue according to the previously announced schedule.
Candidates whose physical tests are scheduled on dates other than those mentioned above should follow their existing schedule unless JSSC issues further instructions.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR JSSC ASSISTANT JAILOR CANDIDATES
Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has issued the following important clarifications regarding the rescheduled JAJCE-2025 Physical Test.
1. The revised dates apply only to candidates whose Physical Standard Test or Physical Efficiency Test was scheduled on 28, 29, 30 or 31 October 2026 under Selection Board No. 01 at JAP-1 Ground, Doranda, Ranchi.
2. Candidates originally scheduled for 28 October 2026 must now appear on 18 November 2026.
3. Candidates originally scheduled for 29 October 2026 must now appear on 19 November 2026.
4. Candidates originally scheduled for 30 October 2026 must now appear on 20 November 2026.
5. Candidates originally scheduled for 31 October 2026 must now appear on 21 November 2026.
6. All remaining physical test dates and programmes remain unchanged.
7. Candidates are NOT required to download their admit cards again.
8. Important Notice No. 02 dated 16 October 2026 and Important Notice No. 03 dated 22 October 2026 stand modified only to the extent specified in the latest notice.
9. All other provisions and instructions contained in the earlier notices remain unchanged.
10. Candidates must follow the applicable reporting time and other instructions issued previously by JSSC.
11. Candidates should regularly visit the official JSSC website for further announcements.

This notice concerns the rescheduling of physical examinations only.
It is not a recruitment result, admit card release or announcement of final selection.
