What is JSSC JTGLCCE?

JTGLCCE stands for the Jharkhand Technical/Special Qualification Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination. It is conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission for posts requiring specific graduate, postgraduate or technical qualifications.

Unlike a completely common graduate-level examination, JTGLCCE preparation must combine Jharkhand-specific general knowledge, language papers, mathematics, general science and reasoning with the technical or specialised subject applicable to the candidate's post.

Candidates should first identify the exact post for which they are eligible and then prepare according to the corresponding technical syllabus published by JSSC.

Current Application Status

The online application, fee payment and correction periods for JTGLCCE 2026 have ended. Candidates should now focus on preparation and regularly check official notices concerning the examination date, syllabus, admit card and subsequent revisions.

The application portal may still be used to access candidate login or other permitted services, but fresh registration is currently closed.

Important revision: A subsequent JSSC notice removed the posts of Assistant Vector-Borne Disease Control Officer, Inspector under the Vector-Borne Disease Control Programme, and Junior Scientific Assistant of the State Drug Testing Laboratory from the advertisements. Candidates must follow the latest official notice and final post-specific syllabus.

History, geography, culture, polity, economy, schemes and current developments of Jharkhand.

General Studies

Indian history, polity, geography, economy and important national and international events.

Mental Ability

Hindi & English

The Preliminary Examination is of two hours. Each correct answer carries three marks, while one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

Paper I is qualifying and requires the prescribed minimum marks. Paper II and Paper III are important for merit, subject to all qualifying conditions. Candidates must also obtain the required minimum marks in the technical/specific portion of Paper III.
