Educational Qualification:
Fresh Law Graduates/Post Graduates from a University or College recognised by the Bar Council of India are eligible to apply. Students studying in the 5th year of a 5-year Law Course or final year of a 3-year Law Course are also eligible, subject to passing the final year LL.B. examination before engagement.
Candidates must have passed all their examinations in the first attempt with at least 60% aggregate marks. Candidates having familiarity with computers will get preference in selection.
Remuneration & Tenure:
Each Law Researcher / Research Associate will receive a consolidated ₹40,000 per month as honorarium/stipend. The contractual engagement will initially be for one year and may be extended once for another year. The maximum period of engagement will be two years.
Nature of Work:
Law Researchers / Research Associates will assist the Hon'ble Judges of the High Court in judicial and administrative work, including legal research, searching relevant case laws, preparing case summaries and notes, research on citations, assistance in preparation of judgments, proof reading and other legal research work assigned by the Hon'ble Judge.
