Educational Qualification:

For TGT: Candidates should possess the prescribed integrated graduate/B.Ed. qualification or Bachelor's Honours Degree in the relevant subject along with B.Ed., with minimum 50% marks as prescribed in the notification. Candidates qualified in CTET Paper-II (Classes VI-VIII) or JTET will be given preference.

For PGT: Candidates should possess the prescribed integrated postgraduate/B.Ed. qualification or Postgraduate Honours Degree in the relevant subject along with B.Ed., with minimum 50% marks as prescribed in the notification.

Age Limit:

The minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 60 years. Retired teachers of the State Government, KVS, NVS or recognised CBSE schools may also apply, subject to a maximum age of 65 years for retired candidates.

How to Apply:

The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the official NIC website of Seraikela-Kharsawan district at www.saraikela.nic.in. Applications submitted in any other format will not be accepted.

The duly filled application form along with self-attested copies of required educational certificates, caste certificate, residential certificate, Aadhaar Card, experience certificates, conduct certificate and other applicable documents must be sent through Registered Post / Speed Post to:

The application must reach the office by 19 September 2026 up to 5:00 PM. Applications received after the prescribed date and time will not be accepted.

Selection Process:

Eligible candidates will first be shortlisted on the basis of applications received. Final selection will be made by the District Level Committee through Walk-in Interview / Skill Test. The date and time of interview will be communicated separately to shortlisted candidates.

Period of Engagement:

The engagement of Guest Teachers will continue only up to 31 March 2027 or until appointment of regular teachers, whichever occurs earlier. The appointment will be purely temporary and will not confer any right to regularisation or permanent appointment.

Other Important Conditions:

• Local candidates will be given preference in the selection process as per the applicable departmental instructions.
• Preference may also be given to candidates having teaching experience in educational institutions.
• Guest Teachers will be required to perform duties similar to regular teachers.
• As EMRS is a residential school, selected Guest Teachers must remain available according to the requirements of the school and students.
• Remuneration will be paid according to the norms approved by NESTS / State EMRS Society.
