All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Deoghar has invited applications for various contractual posts under the State Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL), Department of Microbiology. The appointments are initially for one year at AIIMS Deoghar, Jharkhand.

Post-wise Vacancy and Salary Details:
- Scientist-B (Medical): 01 Post | ₹67,000 + HRA per month
- Research Assistant / Staff Nurse (Optional under DHR): 01 Post | ₹35,000 consolidated per month
- Lab Technician: 01 Post | ₹28,000 + HRA per month
Educational Qualification:
- Scientist-B (Medical): MBBS Degree recognised by MCI. Preference will be given to candidates having laboratory experience in Virology, Microbiology, Immunology or Parasitology.
- Research Assistant / Staff Nurse: M.Sc. / M.Sc. MLT in Virology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Parasitology or Immunology. Two years' relevant laboratory experience is desirable.
- Lab Technician: B.Sc. MLT with 1 year' relevant experience, or DMLT with 4 years' relevant experience in Virology, Microbiology, Immunology or Parasitology Laboratory.

Selection Procedure:
Applications will be scrutinised by the selection committee. Selection will be based on merit through interview. A written test may be conducted if more than 30 eligible candidates apply for a post. The interview / written-test schedule and eligible-candidate list will be published on the AIIMS Deoghar website.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. These posts are purely contractual and do not create any right to permanent employment at AIIMS Deoghar.
