The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has issued an essential notification (Notice No. 05) dated July 2, 2026, concerning the Joint Competitive Examination-2025 for the Recruitment of Paramedical Staff in Jharkhand State Prisons (Advt No. 09/2025).
The commission has announced the cancellation of certain candidatures due to non-compliance with the examination fee guidelines during the application correction window.
Why Were the Applications Cancelled?
According to the official notice:
Online applications were initially accepted up to midnight on February 26, 2026, with a correction window open until midnight on March 2, 2026.
During the correction phase, some candidates modified their reservation category from SC/ST to Unreserved, EBC (BC-I), BC (BC-II), or EWS categories.
Because of this category change, affected candidates were required to submit the differential amount of the examination fee via a Demand Draft to the JSSC office, as previously notified in Notice No. 02 and Notice No. 03.
Since the required fee difference was not deposited within the stipulated time, their applications have been officially cancelled.
