Office of the District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur (District Child Protection Unit) has published the final merit list for Support Person panel formation under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and POCSO Rules, 2020.
The panel is being prepared to provide psychological and other necessary assistance to children requiring support under the applicable POCSO provisions.
Applications were invited through Office Advertisement Letter No. 266 dated 27 April 2026.
Following scrutiny of educational qualifications, work experience and interviews, the District Selection Committee has prepared the final merit list.
The official final merit list contains 12 applicants.
Out of these, 7 candidates have been marked as selected, while 5 candidates have been declared ineligible.
The selected candidates and their total marks are:
1. Priya Paul – 39 Marks
2. Sushil Kumari – 39 Marks
3. Bindu Kumari Sharma – 37 Marks
4. Sushilendra Mahto – 36 Marks
5. Indu Rani – 35 Marks
6. Varsha Saha – 34 Marks
7. Hila Gupta – 33 Marks
Candidates should verify the spelling of their names, marks and selection status against the official merit list.
The final merit list also includes five candidates marked as ineligible.
The reasons recorded in the official list include insufficient qualifying marks and failure to satisfy relevant eligibility or work-experience requirements.
The department has published the final merit list on the official East Singhbhum district website.
Candidates included in the selected list should follow further instructions issued by the District Child Protection Unit regarding panel formation and subsequent engagement.
The notification does not announce a separate document verification date, joining date or fresh application schedule.
