Seraikela-Kharsawan Medical Officer Recruitment 2026:

Office of the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Seraikela-Kharsawan has invited eligible MBBS doctors to attend a Walk-in Interview for 07 medical positions for providing primary healthcare services in urban areas under the National Urban Health Mission.

Part-time Medical Officer – Urban Primary Health Centre:

A total of 03 Part-time Medical Officer posts are available at Urban Primary Health Centres.

• Remuneration: ₹35,000 per month
• Working Hours: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM or as per requirement
• Maximum Age: 60 Years

The Medical Officer will perform OPD/IPD duties and other work assigned by the competent authority according to the prescribed Terms of Reference.

Doctor – Mother Teresa Advanced Health Clinic:

A total of 04 doctors will be engaged for Mother Teresa Advanced Health Clinic in the urban area.

• Honorarium: ₹1,400 per working day
• Maximum Working Days: 26 days per month
• Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or as per requirement
• Maximum Age: 60 Years

At the maximum prescribed 26 working days, the honorarium may amount to ₹36,400 per month, subject to actual working days.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess an MBBS Degree from an institution recognised by the Medical Council of India and must have completed the prescribed one-year compulsory internship.

Candidates must also be registered with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council.

Nature of Engagement:

The engagement will be contractual / requirement-based. The selected doctors will have no claim for regularisation or permanent appointment in future.

A doctor wishing to discontinue the service will ordinarily have to give one month's prior notice. The competent authority may also terminate the engagement as per the conditions mentioned in the notification.
