• Experience in IT infrastructure deployment, software development, hardware, networking or security management is preferred.
• Good communication, people-management and computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of the State / District and previous computerisation experience will be advantageous.

Lohardaga e-District Manager Recruitment 2026:

District Planning Office, Lohardaga has invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement of 01 e-District Manager on a purely contractual basis under the e-District Mission Mode Project (MMP).

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• BCA
• BIT
• B.Tech
• MCA

Alternatively, a candidate may possess a Graduate Degree in any discipline along with a 1-year Computer Diploma.

The candidate should also have knowledge of English and the local language of the State.

Experience:

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in an IT / e-Governance related field.

Prior experience in project management will be preferred. Experience in IT projects involving infrastructure deployment, software development, hardware, networking and security management will also be advantageous.

Desirable Skills:

• Computer literacy
• Good people-management skills
• Good communication skills
• Result-oriented and self-motivated approach
• Local knowledge of the State / District
• Experience in computerisation of organisations/departments will be an added advantage

Remuneration:

The selected candidate will receive a fixed consolidated remuneration of ₹23,500 per month.

Period of Engagement:

The initial contractual engagement will be for one year. It may be renewed on a year-to-year basis for a further period, subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

Selection Process:

After scrutiny of applications, a list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the Lohardaga district website. Shortlisted candidates will subsequently be called for an in-person interview.

The notification states that the shortlist is expected to be published within 15 days from the end of application submission. The interview is expected within 15 days from publication of the shortlisted-candidate list.
