Office of the Central Plant Protection Officer, Hazaribagh has invited applications for engagement of 05 Fasal Rakshak (Crop Guard) on honorarium/remuneration basis under the Crop Protection Programme for the financial year 2026-27.

Place of Engagement:
Selection will be made for one Fasal Rakshak at each of the following Plant Protection Centres in Hazaribagh district:
- Hazaribagh Sadar
- Bishnugarh
- Chauparan
- Barkagaon
- Barhi
Candidates must be local residents of the block in which the concerned Plant Protection Centre is functioning.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidate must have passed Matriculation.
- Candidate must have undergone at least one 5-day training programme under the Agriculture & Horticulture Directorate.
- Knowledge of the local language is required.
Other Essential Requirement:
Candidates must be capable of climbing trees and riding a bicycle.
Monthly Honorarium:
The selected Fasal Rakshak will receive a monthly honorarium/remuneration of ₹11,851.
Period of Engagement:
Selected candidates will work up to February 2027 or until regular appointment is made to the posts, whichever is earlier.
Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the prescribed 5-day training or longer training under the Agriculture & Horticulture Directorate and to applicants having relevant experience under the Agriculture Department, as mentioned in the notification.
