Simdega Support Person Panel Recruitment 2026:
District Child Protection Office, Simdega, under the Women, Child Development and Social Security Department, Government of Jharkhand, invites applications for formation of a Support Person Panel under the POCSO Act, 2012 and Rules, 2020.
The selected Support Persons will provide case-based support services for children affected by sexual offences. This is a panel-based engagement under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS) and Mission Vatsalya.

Educational Qualification:
Graduate or Postgraduate in Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, Psychology, Social Work, Child Psychology or Local Language. Graduates from any discipline with at least 2 years' relevant work experience may also apply.
Required Experience:
- At least 2 years' desirable experience in child rights, child protection, legal work, social work, child psychology, counselling, sociology or psychology.
- At least 1 year's desirable experience with DLSA, JHALSA, CWC, JJB or POCSO Court.
- Only full-time experience certificates issued by the employer / organisation will be accepted. Voluntary-service certificates will not be accepted as experience.
Selection Procedure:
Eligible candidates will be called for an interview by the selection committee. Selection will be based on educational qualification, work experience, experience related to child protection and juvenile justice, working with children, and personal interview.
Educational qualification carries 10 marks, work experience carries up to 10 marks, and interview carries up to 30 marks.
Panel Formation:
- The panel will include 60% women members and 40% male members.
- Local candidates will be given preference.
- The selected panel will remain valid for 3 years and will be reviewed annually.
- Police verification of the criminal background of selected Support Persons will be mandatory.
