IIT (ISM) Dhanbad Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Recruitment 2026
Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad has invited applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) under the Wadhwani Innovation Network – Centre of Excellence (WIN-CoE). The recruitment is being conducted to establish and strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad through effective leadership, stakeholder management and strategic partnerships.
The selected CEO will be responsible for driving innovation initiatives, coordinating with the Wadhwani Foundation, managing institutional partnerships, supporting startup incubation activities and ensuring successful implementation of the Centre of Excellence objectives. The appointment will initially be for one year, extendable till completion of the project based on annual performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment and growth of WIN-CoE at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Centre of Excellence.
- Coordinate with innovators, industries, incubators, government agencies and academic institutions.
- Strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem within the institute.
- Act as the primary liaison between IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and the Wadhwani Foundation.
- Support startup incubation, venture building and innovation programmes.
- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Salary
Selected candidate will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹1,50,000/- to ₹2,50,000/- per month depending upon suitability and experience. Applicable HRA will also be admissible if campus accommodation is not provided.
