Written Test / Skill Test / Interview: August 2026 (Physical, in-person mode at AIIMS Deoghar)

Health Economist (Scientist C): Master’s degree in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, or Community Medicine with a specialization in Healthcare Costing and Economic Evaluation. Requires 2 years of experience for junior staff / 6 years for senior staff.

Scientist D / Senior Research Officer: * Medical: MD/MS/DNB/MPH after MBBS with 6 years' research experience (or MBBS with 8 years' experience).Non-Medical: Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field with 5 years' R&D/teaching experience; or First Class MPH/Pharm D/Master's Degree/MHA with 8 years' experience.

Scientist C / Research Officer: * Medical: MBBS with 6 years' experience; or Postgraduate Diploma with 5 years' experience; or MD/MS/DNB/MPH with 4 years' research experience.Non-Medical: M.Sc. Life Sciences/MPH/MHA/M.Pharm/Pharm D with 4 years' relevant experience.

Administrative Officer: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Government Department/Autonomous Body/University/PSU. Retired Section Officers/Under Secretaries to the GOI are also eligible.

Field Officer & Field Investigator: Graduate in Science/relevant subject with 3 years' work experience; or a Master's degree in a relevant subject; or a Pharm D degree.

The Department of Evidence Synthesis (DOES), AIIMS Deoghar, invites applications from eligible candidates for various contractual manpower positions under the Health Technology Assessment in India (HTAIn) Project. This project is funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, and is led by Principal Investigator Dr. Seshadri Reddy Varikasuvu.

These appointments are purely temporary, project-based, and initially for a period of 12 months (extendable for a maximum of one more year based on performance).
